The Lone Peak family grows again, Alpine is the latest model of Multi Use General Purpose shoe. It will be perfect for everyday use, for work, during light mountain trekking or hiking.
Built on a 25mm sole made of Ego foam, it provides the necessary amount of cushioning. The soft and springy nature of this foam guarantees comfort and convenience even during all-day hiking. From the outside, the sole is covered with a DuraTread tread which is abrasion-resistant, and can cope with wet and demanding terrain at the same time allowing you to comfortably move around the city or on harder surfaces.
In the Altra Lone Peak Alpine shoes, they do, meet the FootShape technology, which is responsible for the expansion of the shoe forward - just like a human foot. This guarantees comfort and no pressure or squeezing of the toes by the shoe. This is especially important during long-term use. In addition, Balanced Cushioning technology, like the human foot, has the same thickness along its entire length. This ensures a natural and correct body posture when standing and moving.
The Altra Alpine shoes are partly built on "bio" recycled materials. The Ego foam in this stuff was made of the Bloom material, which comes from sea algae. Versatile and eco......these are an allround winner mountain to town.
